LJ Chiropractic is pleased to announce that two new staff members have joined the team. Dr. Courtney Meleisea, Dip. App. Sci, B. Chiro, and Dr Sophia Karikala, Dip. App. Sci, B. Chiro are both graduates of the New Zealand College of Chiropractic. The chiropractor team at Kensington / Caringbah welcomes these two new staff members.
The chiropractor Kensington / Caringbah team is dedicated to helping people who are experiencing back and neck pain. Dr. Courtney Meleisea joined LJ Chiropractic from Auckland, New Zealand. Her chiropractic degree was completed in 2014 at the New Zealand College of Chiropractic. Since that time, she has been working in private practice. Her range of experience includes all aspects of chiropractic therapy, from the elderly to newborns. She strives to stay abreast of the latest research. In particular, she is interested in the management of pre and postnatal care, geriatric care, and sports injuries. Her interests outside of the practice include ITF Taekwon-Do, where she holds a 4th Degree black belt. She has represented New Zealand in six World Championship competitions.
Dr. Sophia Karikala joined the chiropractor Caringbah practice as a graduate of New Zealand College of Chiropractic and has an abundance of clinical experience. She is located in Australia and in New Zealand, where her experience included checking and adjusting pediatric to geriatric patients. According to the patient’s specific needs, the Caringbah chiropractic patients are provided with techniques such as Toggle, Gonstead, Activator, NET, FBA, SOT, Thompson, and Diversified. She has a holistic approach to chiropractic care, focusing on biomechanics to directly address the root cause of the problem.
