In the first days of June the posthumous record of the Swedish DJ / Producer Avicii, who died on April 20th 2018, was released.
The disc is called “Tim” contained 12 tracks in collaboration with many artists and the representative track of the disc is the one in collaboration with Coldplay called “Heaven” presented live worldwide on Youtube and obviously had a huge success.
“Tim” was eagerly awaited by the Fans who, after the death of the Swedish producer, had been deprived of one of the greatest musical exponents that characterized the EDM world, Zoibaf, Italian electronic music producer already known for his remixes of the songs “Something Just Like This” and “Young” by The Chainsmokers and several original productions decided to add his touch to this song.
The part of the drop that appears more calm and radio in the original has been changed by adding more Progressive House and powerful sounds.
Even the voice has been changed, in fact the vocal created by Chris Martin has been replaced by a Cover created by the singer Hennri, thus contributing to making the remix even more different and special.
The video released together with the remix presents many scenes of Avicii’s incredible career during her evening at Ibiza Ushuaia, Tomorrowland, Ultra Music Festival and many other events where she performed.
We asked the Italian manufacturer a few questions:
– Why did you decide to work on this song?
I decided to choose this song because it is obviously the most representative of the disc and I think the text is really very powerful.
– When did you discover Avicii?
Avicii is my favorite artist and I started listening to him in 2012 and then I also went to his concert in Rimini and it was my first DJ live. Then his career started to take off and so my passion for his songs is great too!
– What will you publish after the remix of “Heaven”?
I’m working on many songs! At the moment I don’t know which will be the first one I will publish but soon something will be published!
